REBUILD NEPAL

Restoring Homes. Restoring Hope. Rebuilding Lives.

For years, Sonrise India has worked alongside Prarthana Seva Sabha in Nepal to serve underprivileged families and communities through practical humanitarian support. Together, we have helped provide children and families with access to education, food, and essential assistance, particularly in communities where resources and opportunities are limited.

Today, many of these families are facing an overwhelming new challenge.

More than 100 families have suffered severe damage to their homes, leaving many struggling to recover from losses they simply do not have the financial resources to overcome on their own.

For families already living with limited income, damage to a home can quickly become a life-changing crisis. A damaged roof, weakened walls, destroyed household belongings, or an unsafe living environment can place an entire family at risk. Many affected families have little or no savings available for major repairs and limited access to the resources necessary to rebuild.

Rebuild Nepal has been created to stand with these families during this critical time.

Sonrise India, in partnership with Prarthana Seva Sabha, is raising support to help affected families repair and restore their homes and rebuild their lives. The project will focus on the most urgent needs of families whose homes have experienced significant damage.

Support received through this project will help provide essential building materials, home repairs, restoration work, and other critical assistance needed to make damaged homes safe and livable again. Because every family's situation is different, assistance will be prioritized according to the severity of the damage, individual family needs, and available resources.

Our partnership with Prarthana Seva Sabha allows this response to be locally informed and personally connected. Their existing relationships within these communities make it possible to identify affected families, understand their circumstances, and direct assistance toward those facing the greatest need.

But Rebuild Nepal is about more than rebuilding structures.

A home represents security. It is where children sleep, study, eat, and grow. It is where families gather and where parents work to build a better future for their children. When a home is severely damaged, families lose more than walls and a roof—they lose stability, security, and a sense of normalcy.

By helping restore a home, we can help restore that stability.

Behind the number of more than 100 affected families are real people—parents trying to protect their children, children needing a safe place to live, and families wondering how they will recover.

We cannot replace everything they have lost, but together we can help them begin again.

Every repaired roof, restored wall, and rebuilt home represents another family moving from devastation toward recovery.

We invite compassionate individuals, organizations, businesses, and community partners to stand with Sonrise India and Prarthana Seva Sabha as we work to help these families rebuild.

Together, we can restore homes, restore dignity, and restore hope—one family at a time.
